Key Points to Consider When Registering:
- Our schools get rewarded for every registration, not for the total amount donated. To help us raise the most money, please register multiple participants — including friends, family, and even pets! For example, if you plan to donate $120, registering 4 people at $30 each helps the school more than one person donating $120.
- You do not have to walk to make an impact. Your registration is the key to our success, and a “virtual walker” is just as impactful as a physical one. Feel free to participate from the sidelines, knowing your registration is directly helping our students.
- Skechers will match every registration up to 4x — making each one a great investment in our schools.
- We’re thrilled to announce new prizes and incentives! This year, we’re celebrating the entire community with special rewards for principals, teachers and students.
Last year, the Skechers Friendship Walk raised $283,080 for Hermosa Schools — the largest sum ever for HVS. Let’s make this year’s impact even bigger. Register now!

EXTRA RECESS
If View campus exceeds goal of 150% (1.5x) of enrollment in Skechers registrations, the entire campus will get an extra recess!
POPSICLE & PJ PARTY
Every class that gets 2x class enrollment in Skechers registrations will get a popsicle & pj party. If every student in your class registers at least 2 people, you’ll win!
Vista Incentives
EXTRA RECESS
If View campus exceeds goal of 150% (1.5x) of enrollment in Skechers registrations, the entire campus will get an extra recess!
POPSICLE & PJ PARTY
Any class that gets 2x class enrollment in Skechers registrations will get a popsicle party and no homework pass. If every student registers at least 2 people, you’ll win!
Vista Incentives
NO HOMEWORK FOR THE WEEK
If Vista campus exceeds goal of 150% (1.5x) of enrollment in Skechers registrations, the entire campus will get no homework for the week pass!
POPSICLE & PJ PARTY
Every class that gets 2x class enrollment in Skechers registrations will get a popsicle & pj party. If every student in your class registers at least 2 people, you’ll win!
Valley Incentives
EXTRA RECESS
If Valley campus exceeds goal of 150% (1.5x) of enrollment in Skechers registrations, the entire campus will an extra recess!
5TH GRADE
Any class gets 2x class enrollment in Skechers registrations will get a popsicle party and a no homework pass! If every student registers at least 2 people, you’ll win!
6TH – 8TH GRADES
Middle Schooler registrations at Valley (6th-8th) will get a mile skip pass! Please register under your MS PE teacher so that teacher has record of iT.
Teacher/Staff Prizes
FOR PRINCIPALS
The Principal at the school with the highest registration in the district will win a self-care package valuing over $1,000 including a Chemical Peel from NeogevityMD, Summer Fridays product, linens from Urband Nest & Nook, and meals from Ready Fit Go
HOMEROOM TEACHERS
The homeroom teacher with the highest walker registration at each campus will win a self-care package worth over $500 including a Mani & Pedi from Simply Nail Bar, Brow Sculpt with Tint from Jackie Brows & Beyond, $100 gift card to NeogevityMD, and product from Summer Fridays! Specials/PE teachers have a separate giveaway.
SPECIALS TEACHERS
The specials teacher with the highest walker registration will win a self-care package worth over $500 including a massage & sauna from NOW Massage Redondo, accupuncture from The Sanctuary South Bay, meals from Ready Fit Go, linens from Urban Nest & Nook, and product from Summer Fridays!
Top Student at Each Campus
Will get to be Principal for the Day! One student per campus will win.

Tips on How to Register
- To register for a class team, scroll up to find your teacher. Click on the link to go to their Skechers registration page.
- Then click JOIN TEAM.
- Select your participation type: Registered Walker or Virtual Walker & then click Next Step.
- Join as a New Participant or log in with an existing account (you can reset it if you forget).
- Fill out registration information.
- IMPORTANT: For question #2…
I would like my contribution to support: please select Hermosa Beach Education Foundation.
To register additional family members on the same team, you can do so while logged in. But to register additional family members on different teams, you will need to log out, then choose “Join as New Participant,” and choose a different username for that person. You can use the same email address, mailing address, credit card, etc., but you will need a new username.
